Waco Juniors Volleyball Club is entering its 25th year of competitive volleyball in the 2024-2025 season!
We are the oldest, largest, and most competitive club in the Waco area. We started as a small team for a few girls to have an opportunity to play outside of school, but have grown into a year-round program helping to improve the level of play in all Central Texas Schools and to serve as college prep program for those interested in playing past high school. We have every level of play from beginners to college bound seniors.
Sheridan Robinson, Coach
“I've been with Waco Juniors Volleyball for almost a decade and I am a testament to the dedication the coaches hold for their players throughout the entirety of life. Being at Waco Juniors is learning from a community of coaches, players, and parents who turn into family.”
Kaycee Cavanaugh, Player
"Waco Juniors has been like family to me for the last 8 years. It has not only helped me grow as a player, but also a leader on and off the court. I love every bit of it and can’t wait to start my journey of my final season."
Nikki Connell, Parent
"We’re so excited to be back to Waco Juniors for our fourth year of club! The coaches push her to be her absolute best, not only on the court, but in life as well. They have supported her, encouraged her, and they expect her to always level up! Each year she continues to improve and become a better athlete. We are forever grateful for this club and her coaches!"
Waco Juniors Volleyball Club is a part of USA Volleyball and assigned to the Lone Star Region. The regional competition includes teams beginning in Waco and moving South from Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. Most teams play between 8-10 tournaments beginning in December and running through May. Practices take place twice a week in the Waco area. Teams are determined by age according to the USAV age definition and are chosen by the coaches and the director. Tryouts for ages 11U-18U will be held in the Fall. Waco Juniors requires a dedicated athlete who wants to improve not only their skills, but see their team improve as well.
Most tournaments are held in the DFW area, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. A few teams will be chosen to travel out of state to compete at the national level. Out of state tournaments allow for National exposure of the club as well as a once in a lifetime opportunity for our athletes to see how large the USAV program has grown.
The largest tournament is in Dallas or Houston
in April and includes 1,200 teams.
